After a fair number of requests, I decided to try a solid color overlay. This one is translucent black or kind of a "smoke" color. The idea is that while it doesn't add any color to the screen, it removes some of the white "halo" around the graphics on screen making the images look a little sharper. I kind of expected these to be a fair bit cheaper than the others but the printer quickly pointed out that if the entire page is covered in ink, it doesn't matter if it's one color or ten colors - it's still ink. Unfortunately these aren't much cheaper than the others but it IS the same size, shape, clarity and thickness as the originals.
